General Capsule - Fully recovered and energized for the 2003 season... prepared to resume her position as one of the top middle blockers in the West Coast Conference... dynamic and explosive athlete with great arm swing... complete player with outstanding offensive and defensive skills... relentless competitor... will once again serve as captain this season. Miscellaneous - Enters senior season ranked tied for fifth in career blocks, ninth in kills (787) and 10th in digs (667)... 33 digs shy of becoming seventh member of USF's 700 Club (700 kills, 700 digs). 2002 Season - Missed entire season with ACL injury suffered in 2001... resumed practicing with the team during 2003 spring season. 2001 Season - Was on the way to another career year before suffering a season-ending injury at Santa Clara (10/20)... team leader in kills (3.68), digs (3.38), blocks (1.08) and attack percentage (.263)... tallied eight double-doubles on the season, including four consecutive, to rank second on the team... named all-tournament at the 2001 Virginia Commonwealth Tournament, leading San Francisco to the championship... recorded 20 digs twice - Furman (8/31) and at Saint Mary's (9/28)... registered double-digit kills 12 times and twice recorded a season-high with 19 in wins against Portland (10/5) and at Loyola Marymount (10/13)... elevated her game in league play averaging 4.3 kills, 3.5 digs and 1.1 blocks per game while hitting at a .265 clip. 2000 Season - Continued her impressive performance as one of the top middle blockers in the West Coast Conference last season... ranked second on the team in kills (3.65) and led the team in blocks (1.22)... ranked among WCC leaders in blocks (fourth) and kills (10th)... recorded rare triple-double (kills/digs/blocks) in win against UC Riverside (9/22) with 13 kills, 10 digs and a season-high 10 blocks... pounded a career-high 27 kills while hitting a season-high .489 against Santa Clara (11/3)... recorded 25 digs in win at Saint Mary's (11/10)... earned tournament MVP honors at the Titan Classic averaging 3.9 kills, 3.6 digs and 1.5 blocks per game in powering USF to tournament crown... hit .488 with 23 kills, 14 digs and eight blocks in win at Gonzaga (9/30)... registered 23 kills on .409 hitting to go along with 17 digs and six blocks against #24 Loyola Marymount (9/18)... 123 total blocks rates fifth in USF single-season record books... 259 career blocks ranks seventh in program history... 369 kills are 10th highest single-season total in team record books... ranked second on the team with 12 double-double performances... notched 20 double-digit kill matches and recorded 10 or more digs on 14 occasions. 1999 Season - Exploded for one of the finest freshman campaigns for a middle blocker in USF volleyball history in 1999... elevated USF at the net to second in overall blocking in the tough West Coast Conference... ranked second in the WCC in blocks in overall matches (1.31) and elevated her efforts during WCC play (1.56)... led USF in attack percentage (.259), solo blocks (43), block assists (93) and total blocks (136)... ranked third in kills (2.14)... pounded a season-high 22 kills against Wichita State (9/4) and collected a career-high 19 digs against the Shockers... recorded five double-doubles - four kills/digs; one digs/blocks... established a career-high with 13 total blocks against Santa Clara (11/6) - including a career-best five solo stuffs against the Broncos... performed well against WCC elite and averaged 2.04 kills, 2.07 digs and 1.85 blocks per game against WCC NCAA Tournament qualifiers #12 Pepperdine, #18 San Diego, #25 Loyola Marymount and Santa Clara... hit a team season-high .545 against the Lions, with just one attack error in 22 attempts... also hit .500 against Portland with 17 kills on 30 swings... had seven of the top 10 single-match blocking performances last season. Prep Career - An all-section, all-county and all-league volleyball player at Royal HS... played on the Nike Renegades volleyball program which finished second and fifth, respectively, at the Junior Olympics the past two seasons... also played basketball and softball... graduated in 1999.
