2000 SEASON - Enjoyed most productive offensive season at USF as a junior... ranked fourth on the team in kills (2.6) and rated third in blocks (0.67)... equalled career-high with 15 kills against UC Riverside (9/22)... dug a season-high 13 against Cal State Fullerton (9/2)... her 218 kills more than doubled her kill totals from her first two seasons on the Hilltop... shattered her career best with a .244 attack percentage, good for third on the squad...

1999 SEASON - Set a career-high with 15 kills against Fresno State (9/18)... shattered previous digs record with 21 against Pennsylvania (9/19)... recorded back-to-back double-doubles (kills/digs) against Fresno State (9/18) and Pennsylvania (9/19)... career-high four total blocks against Tennessee (9/7).

1998 SEASON - Showed flashes of brilliance in her first season at USF, including a career-high 14-kill performance at Gonzaga to cap a six-match stretch where she reached double figures in kills four times... also had big performances versus Eastern Michigan (13 kills, .321 attack percentage), Denver (12 kills), Yale (10 kills) and San Jose State (10 kills) to post five double-figure kill matches.

PREP CAREER - An all-Tri Valley League player in both her junior and senior years at Clovis West HS... also named the team's Best Offensive Player and Best Defensive Player in last two seasons... a member of both the California Scholarship Federation and the Principal's Honor Roll... graduated in 1998.

PERSONAL - Alyssa Marie Jones... born July 29, 1980... daughter of Robert and Madelyn Jones... hobbies include snowboarding and traveling... favorite sports figure is Pete Sampras... father, Bob, played basketball at University of Pacific (1965-69), earning academic All-American honors and induction into the UOP Hall of Fame as a member of the 1966-67 team... my goal for this season is to help my team win however I can... I chose USF because I was ready to make a difference in the program and fell in love with The City.
