2005 West Coast Conference Freshman Team General Capsule - Competitive player with a will to win... excellent distributor capable of running an efficient offense... owns good court sense and is very mobile... strong leader capable of elevating her teammates. Miscellaneous - Enters junior campaign ranked seventh in USF career assists (1,148)... key component of the Dons 6-2 system, which posted a .235 team attack percentage, the second highest in school history... Dons hit .250 or better in 12 matches; .300 or better eight times, including a season-high .500 (52/7/90) against Stony Brook (9/16). At USF (2006) - Continued to emerge as a team leader during strong sophomore campaign... led USF and ranked eighth among West Coast Conference leaders in assists (7.47), despite operating in a 6-2 system for the majority of the season... recorded a career-high 70 assists to go along with four kills and nine digs against San Jose State (9/1)... tallied a career-high five service aces against Western Kentucky (9/9)... dished out 24 assists and added a career-high 19 digs in win at Long Island (9/22)... recorded a career-high four blocks against Siena (8/26)... pounded career-high five kills on .625 hitting to go along with 37 assists and 13 digs against Portland State (11/25)... shared second on the team in service aces (30)... named to the 2006 Long Island Blackbird Invitational all-tournament team. At USF (2005) - Turned in a solid first year on the Hilltop... ranked 10th among West Coast Conference assist leaders (6.02)... dished out a season-high 49 assists against Gonzaga (11/12)... also surpassed 40 assists with 45 at Gonzaga (10/14) and tallied 43 against Portland (11/11)... turned in a strong match against Bucknell (10/10) dishing out 27 assists and set career-highs with three aces and two blocks - in just two games... recorded a season-high four kills against Loyola Marymount (11/4) on .667 hitting. Prep/Club Career - Four-year varsity letter-winner at Presentation High School... two-time West Catholic Athletic League First Team selection... also captured All-CCS First Team honors as a senior after earning second team selection as a junior... set City Beach Black to a Junior Olympic Championship in 2002, earning All-American honors in the process... guided City Beach Black to a runner-up showing at the 2004 Junior Olympics... in last four seasons, her club team earned one gold, one silver and two bronze.
