(San Bruno, CA) - Jenni Heinser was named the 2008 WCC Freshman and Player of the Year after leading the Dons to a fourth place finish at the WCC Tennis Championships. Heinser went 5-1 during the month of April, including a 6-3, 6-3 win over No. 87 Pavla Mesterova of LMU in the WCC Championships. Heinser closed the month as the highest ranked WCC player on the circuit, checking in at No. 73 in the ITA listing.
