Coach Somers' Take
Tennis: A talented freshman who came out of the USTA NorCal section, ranked #15. In 2003 she was the team #1 player and MVP at Woodside Priory High School, where she went 17-0 in league play.
Personal: If Nisha could be anyone for a day she would choose to be Aishwarya Rai. Her favorite movie is Miss Congeniality and if she could go to any sporting event in the world she would go to the World Cup. An avid shopper, her favorite thing about being in SF is the mall is only 15 minutes away.
Future Ambitions: She would like to marry James Blake. She did have an opportunity at last year's SAP Open in San Jose to propose to him. She hung out with him at the tournament, but whimped out on the proposal . Maybe this year. Nisha can be seen anywhere around campus with her UGG boots and bumping to her rap with her IPod. She is an early riser and the first to arrive for 6:30 am running - quite impressive for a freshman living the dorm life.
