USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov fired a one-over 73 in the opening round of the 2008 NCAA West Regional Thursday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Cvitanov carded three birdies on her last four holes in the three-day event hosted by Sacramento State.

USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov qualified for an individual berth in the 2008 NCAA Women's Golf West Regional beginning Thursday, May 8 at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club, hosted by Sacramento State. Cvitanov becomes the fourth golfer in program history to qualify as an individual and the first since teammate Jessica Potter accomplished the feat as a sophomore in 2006. [+]
