USF men's tennis received a National Ranking this week at #72 in the country based on the ITA Collegiate Rankings. The Dons finished the regular season 14-6 and are seeded No. 4 going into the 2008 WCC Conference Tournament held this weekend - Fri-Sun 4/18-4/20 at Santa Clara University.

This marks the second consecutive year the Dons have captured a top-75 national ranking to close out the regular season.

San Francisco will face No. 5 seed Loyola Marymount Friday morning at 11 AM. The Dons played Loyola Marymount down in Los Angeles in February but were unable to finish the match due to inclement weather. The Dons were up 1-0 as they had won the doubles point. The Dons posted a pair of third place finishes in the league showcase in both 2003 and 2006. USF looks to peak this week and be in contention for the WCC Championship.
