2007 SEASON: Played in 14 games and started one as a sophomore... in 15 at-bats had three hits, for a .200 batting average.

2006 SEASON: Played in 33 games and started 15 as a freshman... walked, stole a base and scored a run against Sacramento State (2/11) in collegiate debut... recorded a career-high three hits and walked twice against Portland (4/15)... had two hits and scored a run at Gonzaga (4/23)... went 2-for-4 with a double and a run against Cal in the Dante Benedettic Classic at AT&T Park (4/25).

PREP CAREER: Played for the Loyola High School Cubs of the Mission League Division II Southern Section... 3.0 GPA...three-year varsity starter... three-time defensive player of the year... All-League selection... won Coaches Award.

PERSONAL: George Humberto Lujan, Jr... goal for the season is to get better every day and help the team... chose USF for the location, baseball and small classes... best advice he would give to youngsters is nothing's impossible, so keep working... most impressive person he has met is his dad... favorite movie is the Sandlot... favorite book is Kite Runner...parents are George and Ruth Lujan...born on September 23, 1987 in Monterey Park, CA.
