Complete Payton Jordan Schedule in PDF Format
The USF Track and Field teams will compete in the Santa Clara Open this Saturday at West Valley College in a meet starting at 11:00 a.m. and the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on Sunday at Stanford. Leading the men on Saturday on the track will be senior Cheyne Inman in the 3000m and sophomore Byron Williams and freshman Ravi Amarawansa in the 1500m. Inman and Amarawansa have the top seed times in their respective events. In the field the men will be led in the shot put by sophomores Alex Irani and A.J. Fabrizio and freshman Oliver Kirkeby. The women will be led by junior Michelle Born and sophomore Laurel Kleiber in the 3000m, who are seeded first and second in their race. In the 800m the Dons have the top four seeds with senior Zita Mezei and freshmen Nicole Bowler, Hannah O'Neal and Arianna Edwards at the top. Competing on Sunday in Palo Alto for the men will be junior Alex Nelson, who will compete in the 1500m. The women will have Mezei and Bowler competing in the 1500m and senior Jennifer Hartford competing in the 5000m, an event she qualified for the Regional race last time the Dons were in Palo Alto.
