Danielle Cvitanov Shoots One-Over 73 in Second Round of 2008 NCAA West Regional
USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov fired a one-over 73 in the second round of the 2008 NCAA West Regional Friday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course and enters Saturday's final round at two-over 146 (73, 73). Cvitanov carded three birdies in round two and has seven overall in the tournament hosted by Sacramento State.

USF Falls to No. 8 San Diego 4-2
San Francisco mounted a two out rally and senior second baseman Joey Railey extended his team leading hit streak to 14 games, but USF (29-23, 10-9 WCC) fell to No. 8 San Diego 4-2 on Friday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond. The Toreros (39-13, 16-3 WCC) capture a share of the West Coast Conference title with the victory.

USF Track And Field Competes In First Day Of Conference Championships
The USF Track and Field teams competed in the first day of the National Athletic Conference Championships today in Provo, Utah. Junior Brynn Maurer won the women's javelin competition with a new school record throw of 35.28m, beating her second place competitor by over three meters.
